Asbestos and Lead Containing Material Abatement

·         Supervised the project in the nation’s Department of Defense Headquarters’ building.

·         Coordinated with the Project Manager, Department of Defense, to ensure remediation operations were executed within contract guidelines and resulted in complete removal of all asbestos, lead based paint and PCB contamination before initiation of follow-on interior demolition. 

·         Ensured security background compliance of all employees in accordance with national defense standards instituted following 9/11.

·         Completed project on time and accident free.

 

NORAD, Cheyenne Mountain Operations Center – Colorado Springs, Colorado

Asbestos Fireproofing Abatement

·         Managed the contract for top-secret security strategic air defense facility.

·         Ensured security background compliance of all employees in accordance with national defense standards.

Building C-1, Trumbo Point, Naval Air Facility – Key West, Florida

Asbestos and Lead Containing Material Abatement

·         Managed work associated with firm fixed priced contract involving multi-base facilities requiring asbestos and lead containing material abatement.

·         Coordinated work schedules for completion of work in the Key West Facility in less than 50 days, substantially ahead of the projected contract schedule. 

·         Implemented new techniques in asbestos control technology that led to delivering the safest and most cost effective approach for the project.

 

BellSouth Regional Contract – Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee

Asbestos and Lead Containing Material Abatement

·         Supervised over 1,000 project locations requiring asbestos and lead containing material abatement as covered in a MSA contract.

·         Reviewed all project sites, totaling over 100 projects per year since contract inception, and ensured work was completed according to OSHA and EPA criteria.
